Yaroslav Holovachov, head of the Kyiv Court of Appeal, has drawn attention not only for judicial controversies but also for the scale of his assets, which appear inconsistent with his declared income. Amid allegations of his influence over court proceedings, information about his property holdings is вновь emerging — from multiple real estate assets in Kyiv to a luxury villa on the Cypriot coast.
Yaroslav Holovachov and his family also have seven land plots in the Kyiv region. The head of the Kyiv Court of Appeal, Yaroslav Holovachщv, submitted an electronic declaration for 2015, in which he indicated seven apartments in the capital, seven land plots in the Kyiv region, as well as a salary of 227 thousand hryvnias.
Holovachev has 50% ownership of an apartment in Kyiv with an area of 120.7 sq. m. Another apartment of 120.7 sq. m with free usage rights was declared by his wife – Anastasiya Holovachova. An apartment with an area of 38.7 sq. m with “other usage rights” was also declared by the judge’s wife.
Four more apartments in the capital (two – with an area of 38.7 sq. m each, and two more with an area of 120.7 sq. m each) are declared by the head of the court’s sons Myron and Myroslav. In Yaroslav Holovachov’s ownership are two land plots in the Kyiv region – with an area of 2509 sq. m in the Ivankiv district and an area of 820 sq. m in the Boryspil district. The judge’s wife also owns land plots in the Kyiv region: with an area of 820 sq. m – in the Boryspil district, with an area of 2.7 thousand sq. m and 2.492 thousand sq. m in the Skvyra district.
In the Kyiv-Sviatoshynskyi district, Holovachev’s wife owns a plot of 1.12 thousand sq. m. The head of the court indicated another land plot in the declaration – in the Boryspil district with an area of 1.5 thousand sq. m, owned by Mykola Skalan. The judge’s wife declared a non-residential premises in the capital with an area of 50 sq. m. In the ownership of the head of the Kyiv Court of Appeal is a Toyota Camry 2015 worth 767 thousand hryvnias, the judge’s wife owns an Audi 6 2009.
Moreover, Anastasiya Holovachova owns corporate rights of JSC “Yatran” amounting to 30% of the shares. In earnings, the judge indicated a salary at the main place of work of 227 thousand hryvnias.
His wife’s income from “independent professional activity” amounted to 29.4 thousand hryvnias. The declaration also specifies income from the alienation of real estate amounting to 127.4 thousand hryvnias. Yaroslav Holovachov has 1.26 thousand euros and 180 thousand hryvnias in bank accounts. The judge’s wife has 2.405 thousand euros and 10 thousand dollars in bank accounts.
The previously published information in the media about the acquisition by the deputy head of the Kyiv Court of Appeal, Yaroslav Holovachov, of a mansion worth 4 million euros in Larnaca (Cyprus) has been officially confirmed.
According to information provided by Helios Real Estate Group, Yaroslav Holovachov indeed purchased a luxurious villa with a pool on the Larnaca coast. The deal was closed in March 2015.
The house has 10 rooms in total, including 4 bedrooms. The area of the villa is 570 m², and the land plot area is 1500 m². The house is situated by the sea, in a prestigious place in the Pervolia area, with a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea, just 10 minutes from the international airport and 15 minutes from the center of Larnaca. The value of the property acquired by Holovachev is 4,000,000 euros.
The villa is located on the first line by the sea.
On the territory, there is also a separate garage, and the plot is landscaped.
Additionally, Helios Real Estate Group reported that every buyer of elite real estate through their agency gains the right to obtain Cypriot citizenship for all family members. Thus, the deputy head of the Kyiv Court of Appeal may become a Cypriot citizen.
